For me in the web/graphic design world, the Tweeps I follow are flooding the Twittersphere with links to tutorials, resources, design blogs, app reviews, jobs, etc. I recently upped my Tweets and my Follows and it’s brought me new relationships, tons of resources, and TRAFFIC to my site!

I feel betrayed. I felt that we were on this indulgent digital journey gorging ourselves with social media apps and services. But it was all a cruel, twisted ruse…

And on that note, I’m going to continue cross-dressing Plurk and Pownce in hopes that Kevin Rose will send me the schematics for the Apple Bluetooth Headset Implants. Facebook friends will be updated by Ping.fm from a Twitter point of view confounding all who aren’t web socialists or design nazis as my status never works with “is.”

I love this stuff.

Ah yes, another case of our inability to get out from under the thumbs of the Dolans. Locusts come to mind. Who is the MORON at NBC (MSNBC) who negotiated this agreement. I can’t imagine why it would be to their advantage. We actually had MSNBC during the olympics on chan. 103 and one night they left the Matthews and Olbermann shows air. Not sure if this was an error or not. Why is the end of agreement date such a secret? Verizon should make potential FIOS customers more aware that they don’t carry MSNBC before they sign.

You can’t get MSNBC ANYWHERE in NJ, not just in northern NJ and, no, they never mention it. I asked specifically about which channels they get before I signed up and they said “EVERY” channel. It’s appalling that especially during an election year there were debates I couldn’t watch. Hopefully, none of the presidential debates will be on MSNBC. Oh, and by the way Directv had MSNBC, so this contract thing is way more than fishy. I’m thinking Verizon – who touts their DVR as the equivalent of TiVo which it is NOT just refuses to do something necessary to have it – but they have no qualms about nickeling and dimeing their customers – and the commercial is right – don’t try calling after 4:30 you’ll never get through!!! I’m signing the petition as well!
